Heather plays a vital role in empowering individuals with Learning disabilities and/or Autism to lead fulfilling lives. Over the years, she has introduced a diverse range of engaging activities, including English Literature sessions where Service Users explored thrilling, adventurous stories brimming with wonder and excitement. These thought-provoking discussions encouraged deeper analysis and sparked imagination. Heather also guides Service User through captivating mysteries – whether delving into the enigmatic depths of our Oceans, or solving the clever puzzles she curated for the Mystery Games – fostering curiosity, creativity and joy.

Heather also spends time interacting with parents, carers and social workers – ensuring Care/Support plans are produced for the benefit of the ‘Service User’. Along with this, Heather plays a key role in mentoring a team of Support Workers, giving guidance, training and advice as to maintain a high standard of service is maintained and promoted.

“I’ve loved working with the Service users over the years, and I look forward to learning and growing with them in the years to come” – Heather

Phoebe is passionate about inclusion and communication. Her ‘Green fingers’ expertise is passed onto the Service User in ‘Nature and Gardening’, where the group take time and care for nurturing plants  whilst researching and gaining an understanding and a healthy respect for Mother nature. Phoebe also chairs the Coffee, Chat and Creative writing sessions where Service Users regularly enjoy devoting time expressing their ideas for the next New York Times Best Seller!
“It’s just wonderful bringing a smile to the Service Users face, they truly blossom themselves as they see the flowers bud and they make up the ending of the next story” – Phoebe

Tega takes the Service User on a tour of the world, whether that’s the world of today in our ‘Globetrotter’ activity class – where Service Users get to learn about the life and cultures of different countries or exploring life through time and history. Tega’s classes are very popular with the Service User, they look forward to discussing the ways of life around the World, now and the past. Tega also provides the Service User with the opportunity to express themselves with team building and physical skills exercises, with in house tournaments such as, a dance off on the Wii, maybe a Pool match or a relaxing game of Boccia.
“It’s great seeing the positive energy and the team building initiatives from the Service Users, they have such great passion for their activities, I’m honoured to be part of that” – Tega

To compliment our team, Ephraim is vibrant, enthusiastic and full of new ideas. Ephraim is quickly settling into life at Norfolk Involve. Taking over Science, Ephraim’s pictorial explanation of the solar system makes the Service User look to the stars in amazement.

Talking of stars, Ephraim’s takes the lead in the Karaoke sessions.
Service Users get their singing voices out and grow in confidence as they sing their favourite tune – watch out BGT!

“I love seeing and hearing at the end of the day on how the Service User has enjoyed themselves, it makes my job so worthwhile and fulfilling” – Ephraim
